Paul Deering & Annalisa Deering

We began DEERING DESIGN in 1979, in Davis, California, after Paul graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design with a Master of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design.  He also holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon.  Prior to starting the firm, he worked for the Landscape Architecture firms: Ruff, Cameron & LaCoss in Eugene, Oregon, and Dennis Tsuboi & Associates in Sacramento, California.  Paul's specialties are DESIGN and plant materials.

Annalisa graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History.  Annalisa specializes in Color Rendering and Irrigation Design.

DEERING DESIGN provides Landscape Architectural services from Entitlement drawings, to Master Plans, through Construction Drawings, and Construction Observation.  Irrigation Design has always been done in-house and is carefully coordinated with low-water use Planting Design. California Native Plants are a high priority and are the key to low water use here in California.
